ZenCash Achieves Quarter Billion Dollars in Invoices Under Management, Appoints Elaine O’Gorman as President and Chief Operating Officer

Leading Cloud-Based Accounts Receivable Solution Recruits Expert in Hyper-Growth Business

DALLAS (May 2, 2013) – ZenCash, the leading cloud-based accounts receivable solution, today announced the appointment of Elaine O’Gorman as its president and chief operating officer. O’Gorman will focus on streamlining delivery of service, expanding ZenCash’s network of accounting application partners, and helping customers get paid faster.

“In the first 12 months in business, ZenCash has added nearly 1,000 users representing over a quarter billion dollars in open invoices,” said O’Gorman. “ZenCash is on a mission to automate the entire process of getting paid for our customers–from elegant workflows that help AR professionals focus on their highest value targets, to automated multichannel communications streams that work for any size business. We’ve seen tremendous success to date and are poised for explosive growth.”

O’Gorman has more than 15 years of experience as a general manager, strategist and C-level executive across disciplines from marketing to finance to technology. Often described as an executive addicted to hyper-growth companies, O’Gorman was part of the team that grew the American Airlines website, AA.com, from $200 million to $1 billion in two years. Subsequently, she ran product and marketing for SaaS marketing technology provider Silverpop through its 10x growth in five years. Most recently, O’Gorman served as CMO at the online financial exchange, The Receivables Exchange, from its first year through its billion-dollar trading milestone. An experienced board member, O’Gorman serves on several private company boards as well as on the board of TeXchange, the premier technology entrepreneur community in Texas. She holds business degrees from both The Wharton School and the Ross School at the University of Michigan.

“Elaine is known for joining later stage, high-growth companies,” said Brandon Cotter, founder and CEO of ZenCash. “The timing of her arrival is ideal as we get ready to unveil a series of new solutions for mid- market firms in the coming months. Disruptive companies require the right mix of flexible, lean-startup thinking with the operational discipline to execute. Elaine’s depth of experience in those areas will prove invaluable to ZenCash.”

In the two years since forming the company, ZenCash has received numerous accolades from sources like Forbes, VentureBeat and TechCrunch, as well as five-star ratings from sources like Intuit’s QuickBooks and GetApp. ZenCash is relentless in its advocacy of user-centered design and building experiences that are not just useful but joyful—and even fun. ZenCash uses a full range of tools to create that sense of fun and advocacy, as can be seen in the current “Help Us Create a Sweet New Demo Video” experience, which is open to the public.

Cloud-Based Receivables and Collections Pioneer ZenCash Brings QuickBooks-Integrated Application to Intuit App Center

App to reach millions of small businesses that struggle with getting paid

DALLAS – August 28, 2012 – ZenCash, the first cloud-based solution for receivables and collections management, today announced it integrates with Intuit QuickBooks® and QuickBooks Online® and is available on Intuit App Center. Today’s news broadens the company’s reach to more than five million small businesses using QuickBooks in the United States, and demonstrates the app upholds Intuit’s rigorous set of technical, security and marketing standards.

“Getting paid on time is a struggle for businesses of almost any size and the pain of managing the process internally is often greater than the executive team realizes,” said Brandon Cotter, CEO and founder of ZenCash. “It is a no-brainer to outsource a process that most companies claim is their least favorite, and is often overlooked, mismanaged or under-staffed.”

Whether a business needs help sending thousands of reminder notes, placing a single reminder phone call, or sending dozens of claims to third-party collections, ZenCash will both manage and perform all the work for you. With ZenCash, businesses speed their cash flow, save money and make lives for their financial leaders easier. The solution currently integrates with QuickBooks desktop versions 2009 and later, and QuickBooks Online.

Cotter continues, “This service would have been near impossible to pull off a few years ago, but by integrating with QuickBooks, small businesses are just a few mouse clicks away. We are thrilled to be in a position to help QuickBooks users have more time to focus on core business tasks and become more profitable in the process.”

“ZenCash fills a big need for small businesses by automating the pain of receivables and collections management,” said Alex Chriss, director of the Intuit Partner Platform. “We are excited that ZenCash has leveraged our platform to create an integrated application that will delight our QuickBooks users and solve real needs.”

“Tactfully managing the collection process with customers who don’t pay or pay late is my least favorite part of running a business,” said David Cowen, partner at G-C Partners LLC, a full-service data forensics consultancy based in Plano, Texas. “As an avid QuickBooks user I was thrilled to learn about ZenCash and am now using it to automate the entire follow-up and collections process across the business. ZenCash has lifted a huge weight off my back while helping me get paid faster.”
